This was the error message facing one of my clients this morning when he tried to check his emails. He was running 64 bit Windows 7 and Outlook 2007.
I opened up a remote support session to his PC and from a command prompt navigated to the “C:\Program Files ( x86) \Microsoft Office\Office 12\ folder.
From here I run the command Outlook.exe” /resetnavpane
This immediately opened up Outlook and all was well.
Having a look around the event manager I noticed that there had been a Microsoft Office update just before midnight last night. As his Outlook was working ok yesterday could it have been the update which caused the problem??
