Wireless broadband for South West Anglesey

A meeting has been arranged at Dwyran School for 19:00 on the 7th of March to allow a company called Exwavia to discuss a possible system to bring fast wireless broadband to the area.

The proposal is to “beam” the signal in from a transmitter which would be placed on the main land and pointed towards Dwyran / Bryn/ Newborough. Tests would need to be made as to where the final resting point of the receivers would be once the transmitter was up and running.

Anyone who is interested in obtaining fast wireless broadband is invited to attend the meeting. The system is already being used to provide broadband to other “not spots” on the island.  More details about the system can be found on the Exwavia web site.
